The Maynard Fire Department is seeking highly motivated, committed, and capable candidates to help protect the Maynard community.
Requirements and Qualifications include:
- Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid EMT-Basic certification (Massachusetts OEMS or NREMT).
- Valid Massachusetts Driver’s License (CDL preferred).
- Successful completion of background and driving history checks.
- Preferred Qualifications
- PRO-Board Firefighter I/II (Call Volunteer or Career Recruit)
- PRO-Board Hazardous Materials Operations certification
- Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
- Additional firefighting or EMS certifications.
- Certification in ICS 100, 200, and 700 courses.
Lateral transfers are encouraged and incentives are available for those who apply.
